Stop the Pandemic is a scientific game challenge that investigates the effects of viruses on populations in an accessible and interactive way. It has been published by EPFL and developed by game studio Gbanga. The original simulation was created by Ellsworth Campbell, Isaac Bromley and Prof. Marcel Salathé at Penn State University and released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.

An application such as the one developed by EPFL and the ETHZ to allow contact tracing in the population. The goal of the app is to alert users after they’ve been in contact with someone contagious with COVID-19.
